KENYA AMBASSADOR APPRECIATES SIERRA LEONE'S SUPPORT TO KENYA

The Kenyan Ambassador to Senegal, Purity Muhindi on Wednesday December 2, 2020 appreciated the support given by Sierra Leone to Kenya for their seat at the United Nations Security Council.
The Kenyan Ambassador was on a courtesy visit to the Sierra Leone Ambassador to Senegal, Alhaji Brima Elvis Koroma where they discussed bi-lateral issues beneficial to both countries and the African Continent.
Discussing the close bi-lateral relations existing between Kenya and Sierra Leone, Ambassador Muhindi appreciated Sierra Leone's support to Kenya for a seat at the Security Council and also lauded the strides of President Julius Maada Bio for steering the C10.
"My visit here to you is a good start to cement that relationship between the two countries as we share ideas of cooperation and shared values". She remarked.
Receiving his counterpart, Ambassador Alhaji Brima Elvis Koroma said the vision of President Uhuru Kenyatta and President Dr. Julius Maada Bio is to see their countries developed and also the African continent. He explained that Sierra Leone recently opened an Embassy in Kenya and President Julius Maada Bio has also paid a visit to President Uhuru Kenyatta where bi-lateral discussions in the areas of tourism, agriculture and trade were discussed.
Ambassador Koroma used the opportunity to explain to her counterpart the Government of Sierra Leone key intervention areas in the free quality education, health, agriculture, tourism and trade investments and appealed for more cooperation in these areas.
